A Clean Jobsite
This is one of the highest compliments a Two Island Design Build project team could receive.
A clean jobsite is a sign of respect for our homeowners who trust us with their homes.
A clean jobsite is a breath of fresh air – truly, it helps keep airborne dust to a minimum, which is essential for reducing dust that settles in areas of the home that are not being remodeled.
A clean jobsite is a joy to work in.
A clean jobsite is free of distractions that obscure details that can be missed when there’s a layer of debris on your work surface; errant nails, mis-run wires, uneven subfloor surfaces, flawed finishes.
A clean jobsite is akin to a clean desk. A cluttered desk is a cluttered mind.
It is very common for homeowners and trade partners and building inspectors to comment that our jobsites are “clean.”
It’s an unassuming and modest comment, but it means the world.
It definitely doesn’t just happen.
All Two Island Design Build construction schedules include dedicated strategic checkpoints throughout the build to clean and organize the jobsite, as well as check and bolster jobsite dust barriers and surface protection.
Subcontractor agreements include daily and weekly cleaning requirements.
Another word that some might use is “overkill.”
We disagree.
Two Island Design Build does not compromise on this very essential piece of project management: A clean jobsite.
